American Mahasangh of Bihar Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit community organization based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. We serve families originally from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand who now make their home in North Texas and across the United States, helping them stay connected to their culture, support one another, and give back to the wider community.
We are a vibrant community of families from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand, committed to preserving our rich cultural heritage, supporting one another, and contributing to our adopted homeland while staying rooted in our traditions.
Our vision is a vibrant, welcoming, and self-supporting community in which every family from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand feels at home in America — connected to their roots, supported by their neighbors, and empowered to give back to society.
Our flagship four-day festival and one of DFW's largest Chhath Mahaparv celebrations, welcoming hundreds of devotees and their families each year.
Community celebrations of Diwali, Holi, and other festivals that keep our shared traditions alive across generations.
Social gatherings that help families connect, welcome newcomers to the area, and build lasting friendships.
Activities that pass our language, music, dance, and traditions on to children growing up in America.
Helping families who are new to the Dallas–Fort Worth area settle in, find resources, and become part of the community.
Sponsorship and vendor opportunities that connect our community with local businesses and civic partners.
Our community association was founded to bring together people from UP, Bihar, and Jharkhand living away from home. Over the years we have grown into a strong network of families who celebrate festivals together, support each other in times of need, and work towards the betterment of our regions.
AMBUJ is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
